   San Jose is known for being the largest city in Silicon Valley with over 1.M residents and its downtown area features a variety of towering buildings that reflect the city's modern and historic character.

   Before 200 Park Avenue topped out at 300ft these were the tallest ten:

   1. Miro: Located at 181 E Santa Clara Street, the Miro is a two-tower residential unit with street-level retail that stands at 298 feet (90 m). It was topped out as of July 21, 2020, and was completed in 2022.

   2. The 88: Standing at 286 feet (87 m), The 88 is a 22-story residential and retail tower located at 88 East San Fernando Street. It was completed in 2008.

   3. San Jose City Hall: The San Jose City Hall, located at 200 East Santa Clara Street, is an 18-story office tower that stands at 285 feet (87 m). Completed in 2005, it is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city.

   4. Sobrato Office Tower: The Sobrato Office Tower, located at 488 South Almaden Boulevard, is a 19-story office building that stands at 280 feet (85 m). It was completed in 2002.

   5. Three Sixty Residences: Located at 360 South Market Street, the Three Sixty Residences is a 24-story residential and retail tower that stands at 270 feet (82 m). It was completed in 2010.
